Announcing the Social Entrepreneurship Roundtable
How might Michigan's most ambitious social entrepreneurs - from across sectors - be even more effective in their work? That's the question Michigan Corps will be posing at the inaugural meeting of its Social Entrepreneurship Roundtable on December 7th.
Public Squared, a partner of Michigan Corps, will be facilitating a Roundtable strategy session for this new network. Public Squared is the national organization that builds capacity in social entrepreneurs nationwide to work together and with government to advance ambitious missions.
The idea for the roundtable stems from two recent visits to Detroit by Public Squared's Founder Rich Tafel. While the December 7th gathering will clarify new ways in which Detroit's social entrepreneurs might find common goals to form public policy partnerships with the public sector, the strategic planning session will also result in new collaborations among local social entrepreneurs.
The Social Entrepreneurship Roundtable is one of many initiatives of Michigan Corps, which seeks to create easy opportunities for Michiganders to connect with one another and lead social change in our home state.
