Calling All Interns

Location: Detroit, Michigan
Job Type: Internship, 20+ hours per week

We are currently looking for outstanding interns to lead community engagement and education and entrepreneurship projects across Detroit and Michigan.
As an integral member of the Michigan Corps team, you will play a leadership role in implementing groundbreaking projects for Detroit and Michigan on behalf of a nationally-regarded organization. Each intern will lead a project and have tremendous opportunities to shape impact, work with stakeholders and interact with the community to ensure success. Projects include: a statewide initiative to bring microloans to Michigan's small businesses, a cutting-edge higher-education financing model, an internationally recognized social innovation prize for Detroit, a statewide public policy cohort, a network of high schools clubs discovering social innovation ideas and many others. Interns will have a great deal of autonomy while working in a collaborative team environment. This is an unpaid position.
Michigan Corps believes in disruptive, high-impact work and so we are looking for creative interns that can help brainstorm the next big idea for Detroit and Michigan. This is the ideal position for ambitious self-starters who are exceptionally organized and thrive on learning and being creative.
