Projects

It's not enough to merely convene a growing community of Michigan Corps members.

It's just as important to concretely empower all Michiganders to take their first step towards successful engagement in their community and state.  This engagement yields greater productivity, activity, connectedness for the overall social network of Michiganders.

To this end, Michigan Corps launches several projects a year across the state focused on education and entrepreneurship.  These projects are designed to create easy opportunities to make a difference in the community and join the Michigan Corps network.  Kiva Detroit, which empowers Detroiters to make microloans to small businesses in their community, is an example of a Michigan Corps project.
